CATRICE HD LIQUID COVERAGE FOUNDATION
My first makeup related blog post. But makeup is a big part in my life. So it’s about time. 🙂
First of all: I’m not a pro…all I do works fine for me and I do it as good as I know. I’m not trying to tell people how to do it. I just like makeup and sharing my opinion.
Since Makeup is pretty expensive here in Sweden, I usually get new foundations when I visit my family in germany. This time I decided to try this one in 010 light beige.
I was thinking about a darker shade, but I read that this foundation will get darker on your skin after it dried. The consistency is fluid/liquid just like the name says 🙂 So I had to think about how to apply it. I didnt want to waste too much product by using one of my foundation brushes. In the end I chose my beautyblender (dupe). Wet of course, so that it won’t suck in too much product either.

It is easy to apply, but I realized that I have to work it in quickly. It dries quickly. Here the result after applying the first layer:
It´s a good coverage, but I wanted to see if it gets better with another layer. Especially under my eyes and on my cheeks. And yes! I’m very pleased with the result of the second layer. I didn’t use any concealer:
On the last picture I finished off my makeup and here you can see a bit that the foundation gets darker with time. But in my case thats quite okay.
I like this foundation and feel like it fits to my type of skin. If I would have a dry skin, I don’t think this would be the right foundation for me. But with a mixed skin it’s a good choice.
I’m not sure if it actually lasts 24h, but the 12h I had it on, I didn’t have to do touch ups.

Mein erster Makeup bezogener Blog post. Aber Makeup ist tatsächlich ein ziemlich wichtiger Teil meines Lebens. Also wird es Zeit 🙂
Aber zuerst: Ich bin kein Profi. Alles was ich mache, funktioniert gut für mich und ich versuche hier nicht irgendwem zu sagen wie man das macht. Ich mag es einfach nur mich zu schminken und meine Meinung zu teilen.
Da Makeup hier in Schweden ziemlich teuer ist, kaufe ich neue Foundations normalerweise wenn ich meine Familie in Deutschland besuche. Dieses Mal habe ich mich für Diese in 010 light beige entschieden.
Ich dachte zuerst eine Nuance dunkler zu nehmen, hatte aber gelesen, dass diese Foundation teilweise noch nachdunkelt nach dem Auftragen. Die Konsistenz ist flüssig wie der Name schon sagt 🙂 Ich musste also darüber nachdenken wie ich sie auftragen kann. Ich wollte keinen Pinsel verwenden da ich befürchte damit zu viel Produkt zu verschwenden. Am Ende entschied ich mich für eines meiner Makeup Schwämmchen dass ich natürlich vorher ausreichend angefeuchtet habe.
Hier ein Bild von meinem Gesicht nach dem Reinigen und Auftragen von Feuchtigkeitscreme:
Sie ist leicht aufzutragen, aber ich merkte schnell dass man diese Foundation zügig einarbeiten muss. Sie trocknet schnell an. Hier das Ergebnis nach der ersten Schicht:
Sie hat eine gute Deckkraft, aber ich wollte sehen ob es mit einer zweiten Schicht noch besser wird. Besonders unter den Augen und auf den Wangen. Und ja! Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Ergebnis nach dem Auftrag der zweite Schicht. Ich trage keinerlei Concealer:
Auf dem letzten Bild habe ich mein Makeup komplettiert. Hier sieht man auch etwas, dass die Foundation ein wenig nachdunkelt. In meinem Fall ist das aber total okay.
Ich mag diese Foundation und habe das Gefühl dass sie gut zu meinem Hauttyp passt. Wenn ich trockenere Haut hätte, glaube ich nicht dass ich mit dieser Foundation glücklich werden würde. Aber mit meiner Mischhaut ist sie eine gute Wahl.
Ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob sie tatsächlich 24 Std hält, aber in den 12 Std die ich sie getragen habe, musste ich nichts ausbessern.
