When it’s your sisters’ birthday, come up with something good
I love my sister. And my sister loves me. And cats! Yes, she’s a crazy catlady…and a gamer! 🙂
So I decided to make something special for her cats that fits to my sisters other interests. It was not my idea. I saw it somewhere in the World Wide Web, but I planned it by myself.
For the top and the bottom I took regular bookshelves. And to create a cave, I took some chip board to cover the sides and the front. Then plastic flowerpots (that fit in the holes I have sawn in the top and bottom shelves) as entrance and exit. Plastic, to keep it as light as possible because it’s supposed to hang on a wall later. Then painted it in Super Mario Bros theme.
It was a lot of fun to do that, my sisters’ cat loves to hide in it and I think my sister loves me even a little bit more than before 🙂

Ich liebe meine Schwester. Und meine Schwester liebt mich. Und Katzen! Ja, sie ist eine verrückte Katzenlady…und eine Gamerin! 🙂
Also beschloss ich ihr etwas besonderes für die Katzen zu basteln, dass auch zu ihren anderen Interessen passt. Es war nicht meine Idee. Ich habe es irgendwo im World Wide Web gefunden, aber geplant und umgesetzt habe ich es allein.
Für das Ober-und Unterteil habe ich ganz einfache Bücherregale verwendet. Um eine Höhle zu erstellen, habe ich Spanplatten für die Front und die Seiten genommen. Dann Blumentöpfe aus Plastik (die in die Löcher passen die ich in das Ober-und Unterteil gesägt habe) als Ein-und Ausgang. Plastik, um es so leicht wie möglich zu halten, da es später an der Wand hängen soll. Dann habe ich es im Super Mario Bros Thema bemalt.
Dieses Projekt hat total viel Spaß gemacht, die Katze meiner Schwester liebt es sich darin zu verstecken und ich glaube meine Schwester liebt mich sogar noch ein bisschen mehr als zuvor schon 🙂
